"When we found Rudy and Carol we had been experiencing some terrible problems and needed help quick! They were so ready to give us answers and support. We hopped in our car and drove 5 hours to St. Louis and met with them. Afterwards we knew that we would have a baby girl soon. We received our assignment on February 21, 2001 and our Sarah came home on June 5, 2001 at just under 4 months of age. We have nothing but good to say about Rudy and Carol. They are wonderful!!! Before talking with Rudy I had spoken with MANY agencies and received many packets of information! My first good impression came when I emailed him and got a return email within minutes! And then a phone call. I was comfortable with Rudy and with Carol from the beginning… I just felt a confidence I had not felt with any other firm. They were extremely helpful in the dossier stage… I feel they did things to help in this phase that all agencies do not do. I had dreaded this phase after hearing such terrible stories but it was truly “painless”. I was done with the dossier in a short amount of time and received my referrals of a baby boy and baby girl immediately. Both were healthy and a few days old. The process has been smooth and trips to visit have been wonderful. Rudy arranged my accommodations in Guatemala and the hotel was wonderful and took great pride in taking care of “Rudy’s families”. Rudy and Carol have always been available when I have had questions and I have never had a delay in getting in touch with them.. even after hours. The whole experience has been a positive one! I would never use anyone else and hope to use them again in a year or two!

I just wanted to send you a few pictures of Marcos from my trip. What do you think of his Guatemalan hat? His foster mom bought it for him while we were at the market in Guatemala City on Sunday. Nice contrast with the Cardinals hat I had brought along!! Thank you both so much for everything you do for me - and for all the families. I know that there is so much that needs to be done and you do it without us even having to worry about it. I am so very grateful to the both of you for bringing such a wonderful little guy into my life. I have learned so much from this whole experience and it has truly made me a better person. My trip this time was very enlightening because I was able to get a small taste of life in Guatemala while spending so much time with my foster family - they are truly wonderful people. Unfortunately for me, it was also much more difficult to leave this time around. I will probably not return until it is time to bring him home - I just don't think I can say goodbye to that sweet little face one more time! Thanks again for all that you have done and continue to do for Marcos and I - You two really do make a difference in so many lives!!
